" I Know It Was The Blood..."

One of my favorite old school gospel songs... “I know it was the blood” is still relevant with so much power and meaning because there are times when words are too much. There are times when we are going through our trials and tribulations and the only thing that we can do is lift our hands and sing. This is my song...“I know it was the blood” the song God gave me this morning as I woke up. I know the words He spoke to me were... “My child, I am with you, I will never forsake you, get up, walk in faith and truth, walk in my glory and my grace. When you are weak, I am strong... my grace is sufficient for you.”

“He said to me, my grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
2 Corinthians 12:9

So this is my testimony...yes... this is my song... It has been a while and I have waited on a word from God but He did not release anything into my spirit to send to you all. This morning God gave this word to me to release and share with you all. God wants you all to know you are not alone, and there are a few of you who are struggling but God have not left you nor will he forsake you. "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

He is there walking in the fire with you, you are not alone, so never think you are alone for one minute. He is there in the midst of the fire (Daniel 3). His comforter, the Holy Spirit is comforting you now. So do not be transformed or consumed by this world it shall one day pass but for now be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

Have a blessed weekend! ;)

I Know It Was The Blood

One of my favorite old school gospel songs...

I Know It Was The Blood

Verse 1
I know it was the blood,
I know it was the blood,
I know it was the blood for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon the cross,
I know it was the blood for me.

Verse 2
They nailed Him to the cross,
they nailed Him to the cross,
they nailed Him to the cross for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon the cross,
they nailed Him to the cross for me.

Verse 3
They pierced Him in His side,
they pierced Him in His side,
they pierced Him in His side for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon that cross,
they pierced Him in His side for me.

Verse 4
He never said a mumbling word,
He never said a mumbling word,
He never said a mumbling word for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon that cross,
He never said a mumbling word for me.

Verse 5
He hung His head and died,
He hung His head and died,
He hung His head and died for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon that cross,
He hung His head and died for me.

Verse 6
He rose up from the dead,
He rose up from the dead,
He rose up from the dead for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon that cross,
He rose up from the dead for me.

Verse 7
He's coming back again,
He's coming back again,
He's coming back again for me.

One day when I was lost
He died upon the cross,
He's coming back again for me.
